Thanks to all who showed up yesterday despite the weather and thank you to all for their work regarding meeting locations - Larry/Russ, Joe, Glenn, Patsy (hopefully did not forget anybody) and to all others for their continued reunion support.
Glenn is going to continue to hold Midlane for the week-end of August 7 - 9 - hopefully for all three days at the very least Saturday the 8th. Discussion still on-going regarding having Saturday at Midlane but seems to be one of the better options at this point. Seems like Midlane is willing to work with us probably moreso than those "corporate" hotels.
Still up for grabs is what to do with Friday night. Consideration is Yacht Club and/or same location of Saturday. Pros and cons to both were discussed and no decision made but we are looking at more information regarding price, etc., along with transportion to/from Yacht Club to hotel if Friday is at the lakefront. Hopefully final decision at next meeting. Larry is working on this. We are hoping to keep cost for both nights <$100 which should not be a problem based on preliminary numbers.
We are looking at music options for at the very least Saturday and I cannot remember what we decided about Friday.
We are getting a lot of feedback from classmates (some who have never shown before) that they are very interested in our 40th Reunion. A good meeting overall with some good debate (as usual).
